For homeowners: leak-source checks and sealing demos. Member offer from HK$1,200 (standard HK$1,500); ~3-hour Mong Kok practical class.

Weekday evenings 7–10pm (3 hours). Covers leak-source detection with meters/thermal imaging, waterproofing materials, bathroom floor detailing, window/AC sill sealing, and fixture installation demos.
Individual enrolment; tools/materials provided; certificate of attendance.
Aged 16+; no prior experience required.
This class may not fit if:
You already need a full professional job (e.g. whole roof redo) and expect to do it yourself after one workshop.
You only want to watch — every student practises.
You want to take paid jobs after class — choose the dual-certificate course.
You suspect structural issues — see a registered structural engineer.
DIY class goal: diagnose, do small fixes, know when to call a pro.
HK$1,500 (member offer HK$1,200)
Yes. The DIY leak-rescue class is for homeowners and the public, focused on diagnosis and simple self-help—no professional licence required.
It helps you judge common causes and safe DIY scope. Structural, exterior-wall or upper-floor liability issues should go to professionals or the Joint Office process.
Choose DIY for home diagnosis and basic craft. Choose the professional course to enter the trade or earn the dual Academy–IABLTE certificate.
Ceiling stains often track upper floors, pipes or window paths—log first, then observe, complain or repair.
Windowsill leaks are common—check sealant and drainage before DIY resealing or external frame repair.
Ponding or failed joints on AC ledges often leak indoors after storms—check drainage before DIY or exterior works.
Source-finding starts with structured observation; IR tools help but never prove a source alone.
